Spinning Jenny

what do you call the the seeds of the sycamore tree? I call them spinning Jennys, that's what I grew up with. I said it to a friend today but he didn't know what I meant. They are all around, when you drop them they spin and glisten in the sun, autumn days are among us. Today we were asked to make a hand tied bouquet with artificial flowers, It's mid week already, what have you been up to? xxo

  1. Are these fake? They look like real flowers! And I've never heard of spinning Jennys, how curious.

    1. yes fake!!! i know they do look real on these photos, they don't feel real, ha. I'm not really into plastic flowers, but working with them yesterday made me realise they aren't so bad x

  2. Sometimes the smallest things are the biggest! We call these seeds: "Hubschrauber" like a helicopter, no official name though :)
