perfect sunday

i had the perfect sunday, lie in, cooked breakfast, little bit of food shopping, went down the allotment, cooked some chilli and made coleslaw for a new year feast that's happening tomorrow, drank some prosecco, did some washing, watched spice trip, had fish and chips from the chippy for tea, played with conker, enjoyed being at home all together, hope you had a lovely weekend xxo

forms and fat cats

i think this coming year may involve me working more closely in my own practice, working with natural forms, porcelain and textiles, along with traditional values. fat cat looks like the prefect drawing of a fat cat in this silhouette of her looking out of the window, she's on a diet, it's not working. my good old lemon geranium, alive through all season, keeps my spirits high xxo

Curiosity Box Project

my box arrived from my curious friend and it was lovely, I enjoyed all the individually wrapped presents especially the hand made shell brooch the olive green bangle and the jug that belonged to my curiosity partners grandparents, thank you Joanne for all the effort you put in to making my box especially for me. The curiosity project is a project in which you enter your details and a little about yourself and then your information gets passed on to someone and you receive someone else's information and you have  £20 budget to sent them a lovely christmas gift, I love presents! Giving and receiving of course, you can see more about the project here on the flickr page and here on the blog xxo

Sashiko pouch

A parcel arrived for me in the post the other day and it was the Sashiko stitch lunch bag I had commissioned from Coco and added little extras Coco had put in. I am incredibly impressed, it is beautiful and perfect, I think I may have to use it as my hand bag instead of my lunch bag, thank you Coco xxo
