Coco Nature

A beautiful parcel arrived yesterday from Japan off Coco from Coco Nature. I ordered a skirt for my birthday present off my boyfriend. I opened it up and there it was, just as imagined and even better. I love it, it's perfect, simple, elegant and beautiful. But not only did I receive the skirt I had ordered, inside was also a little card and bundle, Coco had ever so sweetly made an embroidery for me along with some seeds as a birthday present. I love it!! thank you so much Coco, how lovely of you xxo you can see Coco's shop here

Last flower is down!

The final flower for my mosaic is down and the border, just need to grout the last two now and add my initials in and it's all done. I'm feeling pretty proud of myself, it's been a long process and I have spent a lot of it thinking, no, no, not good enough, I took one bit up and laid it again as it wasn't straight and now, as I rest them all together and I know the time and energy I have put into each one I realise I should be pretty proud of myself xxo

today; embroidery and beach

today was a very lazy day, I watched sense and sensibility whilst reconnecting with my embroidery skills which was great, making things for a craft fair I'm selling at on Saturday, more to follow about that, and we spent most of the day in bed, it was lovely. Then we went down the beach and now I'm making lamb chops for tea. All in all, an excellent day xxo

self portrait preparation

I am taking more self portraits in order to enter this blue task by Ulrika of Ulicam. I think it's a good task, shall be fun to try xxo

celery soup

easy peasy celery soup
need
one celery head, one big white onion, one big potato, some butter and about a pint and a half of stock, I use homemade chicken stock, but you can please yourself x
chop up the celery and onions and sweat them together in the butter, add the potatoes then the stock and leave to simmer for half an hour, it's that simple! Blend it and you can either eat it now or sieve it for a thin soup and serve with a bit of cream in, mmm! Salt and pepper to taste xxo
